We all make blunders, gaffes, that may cause us sleepless nights.  Our mistakes aren't broadcasted to a national audience, like Mark's drop in the AFC playoff game vs Buffalo Bills.Then replayed over and over again on television sports talk shows, dissected every which way. It's worse today due to the internet,  social media, and 24x7 cable.

John Starks- Game 7 1994 NBA finals vs Houston. 2 for 18.
Sleepy Floyd - 1982 NCAA Finals Georgetown vs UNC. Threw the ball away in closing seconds of almost sure win. MJ hits his side jumper to lead UNC & Dean Smith to championship. 
Brian Sipe (NFL MVP that season)- 1981 Cleveland Browns QB throws INT in end zone. Game over.
Ernest Byner - 1987 AFC Championship game. Fumbled late in game, Cleveland was on a scorinbg drive. Denver Won. 

I'm sure , sure many many more. You gotta be in it to lose it.

Buddy, Juli, Jim, Mark, Mike, & SU 🏀 🏀🏀🏀

Buddy, & Juli, & Jim...but I think Mark & Mike got some influence on those 3's hitting nuttin but net. I miss listening to my hoop pals, teammates,  Muenchy & Fats ( I called him Mike) go back & forth about SU 🏀 & the strength & weaknesses of Boeheim as coach. V They were the most  loyal SU fans, but more than that most proud fans of their families & children.  The Mark & Mary Muench family ; Brian, Chris, & Andrew Chris, Patrick, & Molly Thornton Joanne, Molly, & Michael Thornton. RIP JoAnne & Michael. I know I'm not the only person who always miss these guys when SU 🏀 goes on a deep run in March Madness. The best men that life had to offer. 🏀⛳🏌️❤️❤️ Mike Thornton far left.
