The 2020 USA election will be here and gone in 10 days, much national & local importance at stake. No, matter the results of any of these elections, life will go on. The large majority of US citizens will be safer, better off materially, and healthier than the vast majority of people in other countries. Remember that if your candidate (s),  win or lose. The important thing is if you believe and maintain,  what's much more important than political elections or leaders , your religious faith in God. What do you use to guide you as you vote ? Well, if you're a strict political party loyalist, then you just go with the party line. My belief is that philosophy is what is causing such division in our country. It flows from the  WH, to Congress, to Main Street USA. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² We don't look at the individual or subject,  but rather to see if the person or legislation is either or That isn't my guide, not for a long time. I've been mocked an

Tuesday Morning.

Image
It's early Tuesday, and some random thoughts & photos. Praise to Dr. Harris ,& shame still on Gov. George Wallace and his actions back in the Fall of 1963 @ University of Alabama. A long way in 60 years.  Not a better baseball man than Gil Hodges. His Dodgers are in the World Series, and Gil still isn't in the HOF . ☹️πŸ€” It's long past time that this slight to the leader of the '69 Amazins isn't rectified.  " Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go ou

The Moment is Now..

I did not write this - but WOW does it speak to my heart!!!  Worth the read. Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening. Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday. ... and the month is already over. ... and the year is almost over. ... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed. ... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends. and we realize it's too late to go back... So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time... Let's keep looking for activities that we like... Let's put some color in our grey... Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters... I'm doing it after... I'll say after... I'll think about it after... We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours. Because what we don't understand is that: Afterwards, the coff

Trump leaves hospital but ‘not out of woods’ πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ . Truly amazing, a miracle ?

Image
https://youtu.be/-hg2w3T3ZBc He has prayers & the Bible on his side, but a mask ?  P.S. Has Mr. Trump said"   it is, what it is  " lately ?  I'm sure the wife, and daughter of my late cousin Robert A. Schmitt Jr. will vomit on those words. Robbie died in April of Covid-19. πŸ™  They say it's a Miracle that the Prez recovered so quickly ! But, I think he learned some public relations stuff from his North Korean pal, ROCKET MAN.  Always show strength, never weakness.  If he had to lead and show how brave he was/is, then why not so brave back in the mid 60s?  Donald Trump avoided the military draft 5 times, but it wasn't uncommon for young men from influential families to do so during the Vietnam War https://youtu.be/EEl2ZBtxGa8       Coronavirus Bubble Pray πŸ™πŸ™ for all those who work @ WH,  that they remain safe . BTW: I always wear a seat belt, I don't text while driving, I get off the golf course or soccer fi
