Life - simple but, always complicated!!

Senator Romney - Utah, is the only Republican Senator to recognize & speak out on a grevious action by the Chief Executive of 🇺🇸🇺🇸. The others  utter the same words as Joe Pesci in The Irishman. Unbelievable , they don't say a word of condemnation. Why ?  Attorney General William Barr advised the President against granting clemency to convicted multiple felon Roger Stone. Trump spits at our judicial system and makes a mockery of it. I tell you this (I'm a registered independent) if a Democrat President did something similar; Rush, Hannity, Annie Colter, Five @ Five, Tucker would be screaming bloody murder. One of the reasons why, is the precedence it sets for future Presidents, no matter the seriousness of the crime, if a buddy of the White House you can be granted clemency. So, those of you who are Republicans digest that for awhile before defending this fraternization decision. I'm willing to bet on the golf course, or his golf

An important life lesson , more important as a parent to instill this definition in your children.  Sad, that many in our great nation haven't learn the lesson, and are obsessed with acquiring only more monetary wealth.   If in doubt, read the classic novel,  The Pearl by John Steinbeck. Much of  The Pearl  is about pursuing wealth and the dangers that such an endeavor brings. Because wealth is so highly valued (for no good reason, the novella argues), men make extraordinary sacrifices in its name. Such  blind, irrational values  can only bring destruction in this text. But, then the news media blasts us with the latest and greatest pro athlete who is bestowed with riches beyong the wildest dreams of most Americans. I'm not envious, nor jealous, I'm working on my own "True Wealth". Congratulations to Patrick , I wish him well.
