Now is a time for unity.
" Now is a time for unity,” said James Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. “We must respect the results of the U.S. presidential election and, as we have with every election, honor the decision of the voters and support a peaceful transition of power.” - WSJ
Ye of little faith remember this or read it again, and reflect, then pray for a united USA.πΊπΈ
Matthew 19:
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
There is much change in life that we cannot control, or maybe at first, not appreciate. We're assigned an unpopular teacher or professor in school, get a new team athletics coach, a boss from hell, or heaven forbid a difficult neighbor moves in next door. Either you learn to deal with it in the best possible way, or you will be a miserable human being. Bickering, and undermining the change will only worsen the situation. That is happening on a daily basis in the USA, and has been way too often during the past few decades. The worst of people's characters are readily displayed without any shame. Unbelievable words of anger, hostility, despair, are uttered and posted in nauseum . The world isn't coming to an end, not in my belief.
That unpopular teacher knew her stuff, the new coach improved the team, the boss from hell turned a new leaf and your department hummed better than ever, the difficult neighbor turned out to have a heart of gold when you gave him/her some time. Believe in people, give 'em a chance. That's my way.
Either people get on board with the newly elected USA leadership or perhaps pack their bags & seek a better place .
God bless all Americans!
God bless our country, our leaders, our faith. πΊπΈ✝️π
P.S. Perhaps the current American doomsayers should again read this fable.
