September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month - a focused time for advocates and supporters of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to raise awareness both locally and nationally about our efforts to fight blood cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin's disease
I give in memory of my mother, Patricia Schmitt who died of leukemia in March 2001.

Sept 18, 2003 Light the Night Walk in Rochester
Light the Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society; Genesee Valley Park; 5:30 p.m. registration, 7:30 p.m. walk; Participants must raise a minimum of $25; Nationwide evening walk will celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer; Prizes will be awarded according to the amount of money raised.
